Hollywood´s biggest night went out with a methaporical bang; from #OscarsSoWhite to host Chris Rock jokes about diversity issues in Hollywood this was probably the first ceremony where people paid more atention to those who weren´t nominated or didn´t attended the awards. So let´s break down the best, the good and the really bad or awkward moments from this year´s ceremony.
#OscarsSoWhite & Chris Rock opening monologue: As someone who´s has spent most of his career confronting America´s racism issues, Chris Rock opened the night with a hilarious yet brutaly honest monologue about all the "diversity issues" that exist in Hollywood nowadays.
Mad Max Fury Road: While it is not my type movie I have to admit that it is a really well made film that deserved all the awards that won and while I´m really sad that Stars Wars didn´t win maybe I´ll give the movie a try.
Leonardo DiCaprio: YES!!!!! *insert heart emoji here* Finally after all those years Leo won an Oscar and while The Revenant wasn´t my favorite this year I have to recognize all the hard work he put into into it, and let´s face it, it doesn´t hurt to have Leonardo DiCaprio on the screen, even if he´s beign hunted by giant bear.
Lady Gaga: What an emotional performance with such a deep meaning that earned her an standing ovation, yet she didn´t the Oscar, why you may ask, because it was obvious that James Bond was gonna win.
The In-Memoriam segment: I´ll keep this because I wasn´t emotionally ready to see Alan Rickman & David Bowie´s names in there. #StillCrying
Jacob Tremblay: There wasn´t anything as cute as Jacob´s adorable face during C3P0, R2D2 & BB-8 presentation.
The Rolling Thanks: While it was supposed to make the speeches more fun, it didn´t really lived up to its full potential and the speeches were awkardly interrupted by orchestra music, maybe next and with more rehersal it may work.
Sam Smith: I´m pretty sure his speech was improvised at the same moment they called his name and while Writing´s on The Wall is a good song (Though I´ll admit is not one of my favorite) it sounded as if a cat was beign tortured while he was singing it and is probably one of the weakest Bond songs ever.
Stacey Dash: I´m pretty sure half of America was like Huh? when she was called on stage, not to mention how her joke fell flat or the awkward silence that followed it.
The Minions: Yes, they are adorable but please stop showing them everywhere, there is a point where they stop beign extremely adorable and become extremely annoying
