While I´m not one to usually post such personal things this is a post that has been in my head for a while now since I´m pretty sure I´m not the only person who longs to live in another country. And don´t get me wrong is not that I don´t love the country where I live because I do but sometimes enough is enough.
"We need to come back together as a stronger, united nation" Hillary Clinton - Concession speech
Those words have never been more true and honest than after last night's election results and the luring question that now remains: how to put a nation together again with a president that, frankly in my opinion, doesn't care about good part of his people.
Ever since I was a little girl I loved going to the theater, in fact I remember the first play I ever saw was the Wizard of Oz at a local theater near my house. That was the moment I fell in love with theather and with Broadway not only because of the music and the dancing but because the magic behind it. The magic of bringing a story and a character to life. The capacity it has of moving thousands of people every night whether it is as a princess, a jazz dancer, a phantom and much more.
Broadway is also the place where dreams can come true and, as James Corden at the Tony Awards night , "This is the place where you belong", this is the stage where every future dancer, singer, actors find their voices so to every dreamer out there who longs to be on the Brodway stage someday, myself included, don´t be afraid to follow your dreams, don´t be afraid to sing and dance out loud and most of all don´t let anyone stop from following your dreams.
